Mike & Ellen Shapiro are from the Northeast and began their careers in New Hampshire they discovered Naples in the early 2000’s while visiting a friend who had just bought. We fell in love with the fabulous area and all that it offers, theater, sun sand and golf. The Shapiro Team of SWFL specializes in fine luxury properties in both Naples and Marco Island. They have over 45 years combined experience in Sales & Marketing and have sold over $100,000,000 worth Real Estate in their 10 years in this area. Mike spent part of his career as a New Community Salesperson selling luxury homes in the Naples Area. As a seasoned new community specialist, he is armed with the knowledge of how to best negotiate for the Team’s customers. Whether selling or buying, our customer’s interests come first. The Shapiro’s owe much of their success to the abundant number of referrals from their past customers. Mike holds a Broker Associate license and has been a new community salesperson working for one of the area’s largest builders, which gives our customers the edge when negotiating with the developers. He has been in the consulting and sales management business throughout his entire life, most of which includes the real estate business, and the building industry and has Excellent Negotiating Skills. He has served on various HOA and condominium boards. Before moving to the area Ellen owned and operated several businesses, which included real estate investments, high end architectural molding manufacturing and assisted seniors in safe housing. Her real estate career in Florida began in 2004 as the market peaked and then crashed. She and Mike have successfully negotiated in the best and most challenging of circumstances. The team strives to provide excellent customer service and makes their customer’s goals number one. Their professional team is comprised of a closing coordinator with 30 plus years in the business, a stager, and 2 assistants that are there to assist and coordinate all the transactions. Mary and her husband owned and operated a Corporate Catering business for 25 years in Passaic Park, NJ where she was born and raised. In 2012 they decided to move to Naples to start their next chapter in Paradise. She then pursued a career in real estate which eventually led her to John R. Wood Properties.
